Artificial Flower Care Guide

In order to maintain that full, clean and realistic look of your artificial flowers there are a few steps to take. Taking care of your artificial flowers is not a daunting task and far easier than that of real flowers. Below are some techniques to ensure you get the most out of your arrangements and stems.

Real Touch Flowers:

IMPORTANT: The real touch flowers should not be put in water.

To clean them blow dust off with a hairdryer on cool, as the warm/hot setting may melt or damage the flowers. Due to the makeup of the real touch fabric they will warm with time (the white particularly).

All Other Flowers (not real touch):

Short Term:

To clean them blow dust off with a hairdryer on cool, as the warm/hot setting may melt or damage the flowers. All other flowers don’t warm with time.

Long Term (When Needed):

Can be dipped in light soapy warm water and left to hang upside and dry in a shaded spot. This is more effective but only required when flowers are fairly dirty.

DON’TS:

  • Don’t use a vacuum only blow/hair dryers on cool setting
  • Avoid strong cleaning products, only use small amount of liquid detergent in warm water. Harsh chemicals may damage artificial flowers.
  • Don’t wash real touch flowers
